It is a slow grower, though faster in very hot climates. Here, it serves as a very good light shade understory fixture, with steely blue leaves. Shorter here - in 5 years has only reached about 4.5 feet tall. So far, at least in SE Arizona, has been frost hardy to 0 degrees. We don't know if we would take that here with less summer ripening.
